City Council passes short-term rental regulations after hours of deliberation – Columbia Missourian

After over three hours of discussion, amendments regulating short-term rentals were passed by the Columbia City Council in a 5-1 vote Monday. The vote exempted Sixth Ward Councilperson Betsy Peters, who recused herself from the matter. Fifth Ward Councilperson Don Waterman voted against the amendments.

Peters said she is the sole owner of an LLC, which owns a short-term rental.
