The Godfrey Village Board is moving toward the possible approval of a handful of short-term rentals. First reading was given at the last meeting to ordinances that would allow for such businesses to operate at homes at 1,215 Logan Street, 6,107 Vollmer Lane, and 1,506 Glen Vista Drive.
Those three will come back for second and final reading at the next board meeting on February 20. Three ordinances were passed under a suspension of the rules. One granting a special use permit for a climate-controlled storage facility at 1,111 West Delmar, and the amending of zoning from B-5 planned business to agriculture for land at 7,511 Godfrey Road. The third was to allow the new cannabis dispensary at the former Woody’s Chicken.
