UK: Short-term rental data provider Key Data has agreed to become the exclusive data partner of the Professional Association of Self-Caterers UK [PASC UK], bringing fresh insights and data to the UK’s growing short-term rental market.
The agreement gives PASC UK access to market reports and data to track industry performance across critical metrics such as occupancy, average daily rental [ADR], RevPAR, and more.
Key Data integrates with property management systems [PMS] and sources data directly from property managers around the world, including thousands in the UK alone, to deliver trustworthy real-time insights and benchmarking. The company delivers intuitive dashboards to help property managers assess their performance and compare to anonymised market data.
Established in 2017, PASC UK represents both English and Welsh professional self-caterers, lobbying for fair taxation and regulation throughout the sector.
PASC UK members will be able to access Key Data’s dashboard at a preferred rate. This includes average daily rate [ADR], revenue per available rental [RevPAR], occupancy, booking window, and more than 40 other key performance measures.
These are the most important datasets that property managers worldwide rely on to optimise their short-term rental business strategies.
Sally Henry, VP of business development EMEA at Key Data, said: “We’re so proud to partner with PASC UK, who have continued to advocate for our industry. By providing the best market data possible, we hope to advance their mission and create more growth for their members.
“The short-term rental industry changes so fast. The most successful property managers are the ones who can accurately assess the market and their own performance and make smarter pricing and marketing decisions for their business.
“We are committed to helping educate PASC members to understand the tools and data available to them to successfully navigate the 2024 season and beyond. Founded by short-term rental professionals, Key Data understands these challenges,” she added.
Alistair Handyside, chair of PASC UK, said: “We are delighted to partner with the team at Key Data. The relationship with Key Data will enable us to better incorporate hard, quality data in our advocacy work, whilst at the same time keeping our members and the wide sector informed in our rapidly changing sector.”
Key Data is also the exclusive data partner of the Vacation Rental Management Association [VRMA], STAMA Greece, ASTRA [the Australian Short Term Rental Accommodation Association], the ASSC [the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers] and the UK Short Term Accommodation Association [STAA].
